Hoos Out Front

"Hoos Out Front" is a leadership and soccer training program directed by the University of Virginia women's soccer staff, which invites girls grades three through eight to immerse themselves in the Hoos' empowering culture. Our staff understands the challenging and formative nature of this age group, and takes this understanding into account when developing the curriculum. With an emphasis on effective communication, teamwork, initiative, and grit, our staff educates and models the confidence and integrity necessary to succeed on the field, in the classroom, and beyond--demonstrating what it means to be "All in".

In addition to free admission to all regular season women's and men's soccer home games and an official "Hoos Out Front" t-shirt, members of the program will gain access to our leadership program, which includes a mini-lesson on a variety of life skills topics as well as elite soccer training with our staff. The leadership development will utilize small group initiatives and discussion to help build confidence and teamwork (amongst other traits), which players will immediately put to action during the soccer session. Lastly and best of all, "Hoos Out Front" members will enjoy appearances by Virginia women's soccer players throughout the academic year!
